What can we expect in 2021?

"If home is the new hub, outdoor spaces are the new haven."

- Emily Siwek, Design Strategy Analyst | Sphere Trending

Design is an expectation. When it comes to design, we’ll see a shift toward styling that appeals to the visual and tactile senses – unique lines and shapes, organic textures and new neutrals influenced by nature.

UNIQUE LINES & SHAPES

Unique lines and shapes come to life around the home through architectural accents, entryways and more.

ORGANIC TEXTURES

Rich textures, especially organic elements such as wood, make an appearance in home interiors and exteriors to create welcoming spaces that connect with nature.

THE NEW NEUTRAL

Colors that are influenced by nature with subtle grays staying strong and warm neutrals re-emerging. Wood tones see a return to browns with a cooler touch.

Soothing design will reign in the new year.
